She always see Karen as this cool and mature girl but the fact that Karen is only fifteen surprise her each time. Her future is still long with AKB and Sayaka hopes they could give Karen more and more chance. Among many young members AKB have, the one who interest Sayaka the most is Karen. Because she thinks Karen’s dance has emotion in it. Once in a liveshow, when Karen being asked as sudden substitute, she memorize the choreo desperately and remember it quickly. There will be more times when Karen or other KKS being asked as substitute, but always try to see that as your chance. Sayaka knows Karen probably has keeping some discontent buried in her heart, because she herself has those throughout her journey as AKB members. But Sayaka wants Karen to always remember this, don’t worry there will always be people who come to watch you.

And Karen close it by saying she will keep working hard so that one day, even when general manager or captain aren’t there for the show, people could say as long as Iwata Karen is there everything will be alright.

To Karen.

Congratulations for your 16th birthday.

First of all, this year you really worked hard, didn’t you? You have a very serious behaviour so you accumulate little worries and stress without digest them, you understand the pain around you more than others, that’s the reason of your suffering. You’re full of hurt feelings, even now it seems you are about to being broken, it’s hard even just to look at you.

You moved to the capital and I know you lived things an idol can’t imagine, when I faced you the first time I was surprised from the light and the shadow.

Since that, I started to care about Karen, we became intimate, and now I think “Will she be ok?” even if when we don’t meet.

We reduced our distance, I could see little by little the parts I didn’t know, now that awkward Karen is so cute, so cute, it can’t be helped.

You became able to talk with me about your true feelings, your dream from now on, even the littlest things.

Now that your musical has been decided it seems it’ll be a very busy summer for you, mind about yourself more than any other thing. I am worried so I didn’t tell you but stop to bear and endure, live your 16th year like a 16yo, maybe it’d be a good thing if you’ll become a bit a bad kid.
